I follow you on YouTube and met you last year at Miami Carnival while playing mas with Revel Nation. So some friends and I are trying to plan for Trinidad Carnival 2020. The hardest thing we are having a hard time find is a room. It seems everything is sold out or available at the moment.
I was wondering if you could help us out on what’s the best route to take when looking for a room and what area should we stay in. This will be our first time in Trinidad and our second carnival. Please Help!

Hey LaTrese! How are you? So what I would do is check out concierges – karnivalbykandi.com – @karnivalbykandi on Instagram just launched her service for Trinidad Carnival 2020 – if you’re searching for hotels – I would highly suggest that you call them even if they say sold out. Areas I would recommend are St James
(Close to the Savannah), the Savannah, Maraval/Saddle Rd – there are several guest houses on that road – I stayed at moniquestrinidad.com this year – it wasn’t the best but location wise my driver said it wasn’t bad – there’s also Chaconia Hotel – WoodBrook is another good area- I know ppl also stay out in Diego Martin but it’s further out so you would need a SUPER RELIABLE driver – I’m going to publish a video on T&T planning tips but probably by next week – email me [email protected] if you have any other questions.
