15 Carnival/Fete Wear Outfit Ideas & Where To Find Them

Posted on December 27, 2018July 21, 2023

Gee…the year is almost over and I’m already planning for #carnival2019 ! If that’s you too – that means you’re looking at past carnival reviews, tracking flights, booking accommodations and taking advantage of sale after sale after sale for those cute carnival looks. While I’m no guru or stylist, I still love looking my best during carnival season and just in general to be honest so I thought a fun post would be to recap my favorite carnival/fete wear outfits + where I bought them and because I couldn’t pick my top 3 carnival/fete wear outfits, I went with 15! So enough reading…let’s get into the deets.

Wakanda Forever. Never in my life did I think I was going to get the chance to wear anything inspired by the movie until I did the UberSoca Cruise and I did it last minute so I couldn’t find African print but this jumpsuit spoke to me.

An any fete kind of look. Well not any fete. These heels should only be worn indoors just saying unless you’re careful not to get them dirty. But this look is perfect for a Friday night party/fete after drinks and dinner.

Bandeau | Pretty Little Thing | find similar here.

Tights | old

Neon! I mean bright bright. I love this jumpsuit not just because of the color but because of how it fits! If all my clothes could fit like this… I wore this to Bliss all inclusive during Cropover 2018 and unfortunately its sold out.

This outfit didn’t make it to a fete yet but I’m definitely planning on wearing it somewhere for 2019. I heart leopard print with a passion.

A J’ouvert outfit- basically a sports bra and a bikini bottom. + the super cute Carnivalista Fishnet Short tights (use my code BAHAMIANISTA for a discount). Literally put this together 30 minutes before heading out to Miami Carnival J’ouvert.

I love any fete concept I can match an outfit to-especially when there’s complimentary decor. Would wear this combo or something similar to another all inclusive.

And I thought I couldn’t wear another costume after Miami Carnival 2018; my sister at Shop.Evolve hooked me up with some last minute carnival wear for Midnight Mas on UberSoca Cruise. And shout out to Gògè W.I for the custom cooler canteen. I literally put every drop of liquor in it.

I would so wear this to a cooler fete or drinks inclusive party with sandals or heels if I wanted to add an extra “oomph” to the look.

In addition to custom body wear, you can add any sort of custom item as an outfit for fete wear from custom shoes to custom hats.

Our first photo shoot together in Jamaica was such a good idea. I am dedicating myself to doing one of these every year and my sister made the cutest custom swimmies for us to wear.
