It’s that time again. I hate jumping into disclaimers at the very beginning of a post, but I just need to say that this is in no way a list of recommended fetes. This is just my attempt of sharing information for anyone that may need it during a very exciting (aka lit, turnt) time like Miami carnival. I also thought it would be helpful organizing fetes by time & price just for anyone who’s on a budget (like me) and for the people that are headed to Miami Carnival last minute with limited time.

I think I going with the red antz for the jouvert but like how is the road march set up, do you have to be in a group to join the march?

August 31, 2017Hey Gaza thanks for reading! So in terms of the road March. It’s on a fairgrounds and they have the majority of the parade fenced off for masqueraders who play or paid a band for a costume. There’s a certain part near the stage area where onlookers can join the party on the road right before and after the bands cross the stage. If you do want to join a group; check out miamibrowardcarnival.com they have an option where you can see what costumes are available. But you can also wear your own costume or whatever you want and try to “storm” (meaning try to get into the parade without a costume or band/wristband) but it can be tricky.
