“How can I participate in a band if I don’t have a costume?”
Answer: Miami carnival bands launch new themes and costumes every year at a certain price point, inclusive of food, drinks, road experience. If you do not want to purchase a costume package, then you will have to buy a ticket to enter the fairgrounds as a spectator. As a spectator, you can watch masqueraders in the different carnival bands for a portion of the parade, as they cross the stage and then after crossing the stage.
